"Swings and Kicks": Exercise Your Mind and Body
Saturday, Feb. 18th
All elementary school children had an opportunity to learn about golf swings & other fun facts directly from Gary Monisteri, PGA Golf Professional. This event was free to the public thanks to our generous sponsor, The George Archer Memorial Foundation for Literacy.

4th Annual George Archer Stroke of Genius Pro-Am Tournament

San Mateo Public Library was proud to partner with George Archer Memorial Foundation for Literacy to sponsor an annual fundraiser event the Peninsula Golf and Tennis Club.

Friends of the Library Annual Fall Harvest Book Sale
Thank you to all who have donated your time and books. It was another great year. We accept donation year round. Donations of books, videos, CD's and DVD's in good condition will either be added to the Library's collection or given to the Friends of the Library for resale in the daily book sale at the Main Library. All proceeds from the Friends' book sales support the San Mateo Public Library Foundation. For more information, contact SMPLF at 650-522-7800.

Breast Health: Awareness and Choices

Harriet Borofsky, M.D., and Andrea Metkus, M.D., leaders in the San Mateo County Loves Its Women campaign shared the latest in breast cancer detection and treatment technology. This is the second of our three part series on health awareness. Health lectures are free to the public and sponsored by the SMPLF.
