Donor Recognition
The San Mateo Public Library
Foundation Board thanks and honors the Foundation’s friends and
supporters by recognizing their contributions to the Library
Foundation in various ways, based on the level of gift, the
donor’s accumulated gifts since 2000, and according to the donor’s
wishes. All gifts are acknowledged and are tax deductible.
Gift Recognition Opportunities
For gifts of specified amounts, permanent plaques will be placed
inside or adjacent to a room or special area acknowledging you,
your family, your business or another whom you wish to recognize.
Such gifts enable donors to honor or memorialize individuals and
families through permanent association with the Library. They also
serve as an inspiration to others in the community to provide

Donor Wall
Donors who have made significant contributions to the Capital
Campaign and have provided support for Library programs are being
permanently recognized on the Donor Recognition Wall at the
entrance to the Main Library. Names will be placed in alphabetical
order at one of the following giving levels and the specific
dollar amount will not be noted.
