Donor Recognition
The San Mateo Public Library
Foundation thanks and honors our friends and supporters by
recognizing their contributions to the Library Foundation in
various ways, based on the level of gift, the donor’s accumulated
gifts through the capital campaign period, and according to the
donor’s wishes. All gifts are acknowledged and are tax deductible.
Gift Recognition Opportunities
For gifts of specified amounts, permanent plaques will be placed
inside or adjacent to a room or special area acknowledging you,
your family, your business or another you wish to recognize. Such
gifts enable donors to honor or memorialize individuals and
families through permanent association with the Library. They also
serve as an inspiration to others in the community to provide

Donor Wall
Donors who make significant contributions to the Capital Campaign
will be permanently recognized on the Donor Recognition Wall in
the new Main Library. Tribute is also paid to persons in whose
memory or honor $1,000 or more is donated. Names will be placed in
alphabetical order at one of the following giving levels and the
specific dollar amount will not be noted.
